What is 92nd arw?

The 92nd Air Refueling Wing (92nd ARW) is a United States Air Force unit stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base, located in the state of Washington. The unit was established in 1947 and has been assigned to Strategic Air Command, Tactical Air Command, Air Mobility Command, and now, the Air Force Global Strike Command.

The primary mission of the 92nd ARW is to provide in-flight refueling support to combat aircraft, as well as airlift support for personnel and cargo. The wing operates a fleet of KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft, which are capable of refueling a wide range of aircraft, including fighters, bombers, and cargo planes.

In addition to its operational mission, the 92nd ARW is also responsible for training and preparing its personnel to support a variety of global missions. The wing conducts training exercises, participates in joint and coalition operations, and provides support to humanitarian and disaster relief efforts around the world.
